Ride Outs
2020 ride outs will be held on the last Sunday of the month between February and November inclusive. Dates will follow.
Location: The ride out leaders, starting location and route details of each ride out should be confirmed by contacting Daren Cox on 0300 0303001 and select Option 2 when prompted or email him below. Note for all ride-outs we meet at 9.15am for a 10.00am start.
Costs
Our joining fee is £40, which includes provision of the Police Drivers Handbook 'Roadcraft' together with all necessary training materials. The fee for Associates who already have 'Roadcraft' is £30.00.
The RoSPA advanced riding test fee is £63 when booked via our group. For drivers aged 25 and under the test fee is £53 when booked through us, refundable for those who meet the eligibility criteria for our Young Drivers and Riders Scheme (YDRS).
Because we are volunteers, there will be no charge for your Tutor's time, but on each practical you will be required to contribute £20.00 towards your Tutor's fuel costs.
For tested members, our basic on-going subscription is currently £12 per year. Note our membership fees are separate from any membership fees to the national group of RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders.
