The Car Section run three courses a year. We meet every second Sunday from the car park behind Woodley Civic Hall, Stockport, which is within easy reach of Manchester, south Lancashire and north Cheshire.

Manchester is honoured to be the first RoADAR Group in the country to win top prize in the inaugural RoADAR Award Scheme, which was introduced this year to show RoSPA's appreciation for the innovative work done by RoADAR Groups. Despite stiff competition from the four other groups to make the finals, the judging panel were pleased by the way Manchester Group is organised and were particularly impressed by the success of our Young Driver and Rider Scheme.

Advanced riding sessions with an advanced riding tutor are made by appointment with our Bike Section organiser David Timmins, telephone 01270 610332. Training sessions are held at a mutually convenient location.

The bike section hold ride-outs once a month from various locations in the area.

The next bike section ride out is on 19th February, leaving from McDonalds, Mottram Junction.

The next classroom session will be held at Woodley Civic Hall on 23rd February starting at 8.00pm. All Associates and Group Members welcome
