Because the Group is run by volunteers, the driving sessions are free! There is, however, a joining fee of £40.00 which covers the cost of providing Associates with a copy of the Police Drivers Handbook 'Roadcraft' and the Highway Code. The fee for drivers who already have the books is £30.00.
In addition to that, there is a test fee of £48.00, which reduces to £45.50 if booked through the Group. Drivers under the age of 26 are given a further discount of £7.00 by RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders (RoADAR).
