Because the Group is run by volunteers, there will be no charge made for your trainer's time, although on each riding session you will be required to make a contribution towards running costs, paid directly to your trainer, of up to 20 pence a mile.

The fee for non-RoSPA tested members (Associates) is made up as follows:

1. Manchester Group Associate fee of £40, which includes a copy of Motorcycle Roadcraft and the Highway Code. If you already have these books the Group fee is £30. The Group fee is valid for one year from the date of joining; it is expected that Associates will have passed the RoSPA test within the year.
2. RoSPA bike test fee of £54 for those 26 years old and over or £47 for those under 26.

For tested members, the Group Membership fee is £14, which is valid for one year.

A bike Associate who is already a Full or Associate member of the car section will not be charged the £40 joining fee, but would have to pay the test fee and an additional £10 if Motorcycle Roadcraft is required.

All quoted fees are inclusive of VAT.
