to the Motorcycle Section of RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders Manchester Group. The section's membership is made up of Full Members, who have passed the RoADAR Advanced Motorcycle Test and Associate members who are working towards the test with the assistance of their own allocated tutor.
RoADAR's main aim is to reduce road accidents by encouraging an interest in road safety, by improving driving standards, knowledge and skill. We are one of over 50 local groups that will provide free training to help you improve your riding skills and prepare you to take the ultimate Advanced Test.
Our objectives can be broken down into the following:
Any qualified rider who is seeking to improve their abilities and increase the road safety aspect of their riding is welcome. Upon joining you will become an associate member of the section. You will then be allocated a Tutor who over a number of sessions will assist you in your goal to be a better rider.
As a group we cover a large part of the North West and at this time we currently have members located in places such as Blackpool in Lancashire, Liverpool in Merseyside, Manchester, Halifax in west Yorkshire, Glossop in the Peak District, Nantwich in South Cheshire. We encompass a large area and currently meet once a month on a rotating cycle around the Manchester Metropolitan Area. To see where and when we meet please look at our Events calendar for the upto date diary and directions.
If you would like further information about the section and how we can help you become a better, safer rider please contact our New Member Liaisson Dave Timmins.
